Michal Lisowyj
Visual Caption Head
Michal has been a visual instructor at numerous high schools around the Midwest since 2000 and is currently the Visual Caption Head at Millard West High School in Omaha, NE. Michal's marching experience includes the University of Nebraska Cornhusker Marching Band and five seasons with the Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps. While marching with the Blue Devils, he won two DCI World Championships, in 1999 and 2003.
Michal is also an active adjudicator in both the fall and winter seasons. He has judged at marching contests throughout the Midwest as well as indoor percussion, winds, and winter guard with the Heartland Winter Arts Association in Omaha.
Michal graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and is working towards his Master of Mechanical Engineering degree at Iowa State University. Currently, he works as a Design Engineer at Omaha Public Power District’s Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Station.
